Information for this Sundays meeting at Wakes Colne sponsored by The Jungle Bus. We have had quite a few conditions put on us for this meeting after last time so please take note.
The post code to the track is CO6 2DF this will take you to the post office in the village of Chapel. Follow the Blue arrows and motocross signs from there. DO NOT go in any other way. Coming from Bures, Sudbury way follow the blue motocross signs. When going through the village please observe the 30mph sign, there were complaints from the villagers that people were travelling too fast last time.
Camping is from 4pm Saturday and the gates will close at 10pm. Nobody is to come in before or after this time, we have security on the gate and you will be turned back. Once in the paddock you will not be allowed to go up and down the lane during the evening so please make sure you have everything you need before you arrive. The landowner does not want constant traffic through the yard as he has young children, so please drive really slowly. The gates will reopen at 6am Sunday morning. There are to be no cars in the paddock, all cars must park on the left hand side of the track at the bottom of the track field and will be charged £5. This will be clearly sign posted. For this meeting you will be parked there will be no parking in squares, so if you wish to be with friends you must arrive together.
All rubbish must go in the skip and toilets to be emptied in the chemical waste unit which is situated next to the top toilet block. These toilets will be locked and 3 portaloos will be provided. Please instruct your children not to play in or with them!!!! All people must stay off the track whilst machinery is on it.
No open fires. Please make sure your children stay within the confines of the track and paddock.
Signing on and scrutineering will be 6pm – 7.30pm Saturday night and 7.30am – 9.30am Sunday morning. Practice will start at 10am.
Practice and race order, although this may change due to weather and track, so please check the board at signing on.
This has taken a lot of work and time to get the track back, so if you don’t want to lose it again please adhere to the conditions.
